Wham is our current young peoples’ group and it meets every Sunday evening in terms time. The age range is 12 – 18 years and currently under discussion is ‘Poverty in the UK and Overseas. We are a very lively group and have recently visited St George’s Crypt in Leeds and done some bag packing at M & S on their behalf as a means of raising much needed funds.

Sunday 9th October
Next Sunday we will be watching ‘The Imitation Game’ in the Upper Room at church The film is 1 hour and 50 minutes long please could everyone arrive at the slightly earlier time of 7.15pm so we can still be finished by 9.15pm? Drinks and snacks will be provided.
Sunday 16th October
Helen Crowther will be back with us for the first time this year after her elbow injury. She will be leading a discussion on our current theme of ‘Poverty in the UK’.
There will be no Wham on 23rd or 30th October which are both in the half term holiday.
Sunday 6th November
Games in the church hall with Andrew Marshall.
Sunday 13th November
Discussion night : ‘Global Poverty’.
